All went well. My previous mortgage was with PennyMac, so I believe I was given a better rate and lower fees than offered by other mortgage companies for my refinance. Everyone at my M.A.C. Team was very nice, knowledgeable and responsive. Responses to my questions via email were quickly answered. I couldn't be more pleased. My thanks to all. (Give them all a raise! Wink.)

The process was simple. PM kept me informed weekly via email and when I had a question it was answered in a timely manner
Time frame communication to lock in a specific rate was confusing in the beginning.

Easier communication with loan personnel with follow up phone calls after emails were sent
I tried to put money down to offset my big property insurance and it was excepted because they want me to pay the property insurance for the life of the loan
I was asked multiple times for tax documents and title company information. I had to call multiple times and follow-up to make sure the documents had been received and processed. There was confusion concerning how the loan would be closed. I was scheduled to close with a mobile notary and I was also called by my title company to close with them. I never got an answer on which I was supposed to use. These miscues added weeks to the process.
