The communication process was very poor. When you call to speak with someone about a question you may have your either put on hold forever or you have to leave a message which is responded to 2 or 3 days later. I am so glad the refinance process is finally over.

Answering phone calls and returning emails. Accurate information about what my cash to close would have been- I paid more than I expected just to get the process over with bc the communication was poor and no one returned my calls and I never got answers to many questions.

Communication about how the loan was going was weekly, which I appreciate. Any questions were answered promptly. Even though there was an inaccurate document at closing, is was corrected and sent to us to print, and we could still complete the closing the same day. I will recommend anyone to use Penny Mac.

Yes, the amount I was told the monthly payments would be ended inaccurate and had increased $100 more than told. Very disappointed.

Overall I am happy to continue to be working with PennyMac over the years as loan agent. I recently refinanced my VA loan and was able to get a really low rate of 2.25%! The process was simple and stress free, it took a little time and some explanation but at the end it was all worth it!
