The customer service was painless, they explained everything every step ,they sent email to update you,and call every couple days to let you know any updates or to see if you had any questions.

When I was handed off from the loan agent (David) to the "loan team", Rebekah...it was explained this is to give the customer better responsiveness and a 1-stop shop experience to closing. Well, the service rep never had the latest info, so she was always either telling me something I knew from being on the portal, or having to "get back to me" after she spoke with the original agent, the closing team, you name it. I also was told there would be updates...there wasn't. Very disjointed.

Excellent experience from start to finish!! PennyMac brought their rate and closing costs down to match a competitor. At that point I was more than happy to stick with PennyMac. Thank you so much for making the process simple, keeping us informed, and saving us a ton of $$$!!
