other than the settlement co. showing up late for the signing i was very happy
Outside of the origination of my refinance application, the process thereafter was the worst. I was asked to choose a closing date. That date came and went, and no one realized the process hadn’t moved for over two weeks as I was told the reason was someone forgot to check a box. I chose a second date to find out the morning of that due to the holiday it didn’t allow 3 days in case I changed my mind. This and everything thereafter was unacceptable. I wished my mortgage was never sold to them.
It was a great experience refinancing with Penny-Mac, the loan team was superb as they answered my questions promptly...Great team, you have there...Salem, Pache, and the rest of the M.A.C Team for making the closing as earlier as possible. Thanks. V/R, M.A.O.

Not one of my emails were answered through the whole process. I tried reaching out to Shay multiple times, especially the last day to get clarification, even tried to reach out to her manager with the number provided in her voice mail - which did not work. She was terrible - i would like a call from Customer Service regarding this closing. My husband is also going to reach out to the VA to let know know about the service received.
Although we didn’t close on the appointed time and date, PennyMac made up for it in a very generous way. Which left us surprised, pleased & very happy.
It was just very simple. the individual I spoke with on the phone at the beginning of the process was incredibly helpful and after that everything else was pretty easy.
Very professional staff.
