Outstanding service!
The customer service was great from the first call with my LO, Logan all the way up to funding. Logan looked at every scenario and found the best one to suit my needs at this time, his customer service was outstanding. Coming from this industry I'm very well aware of how critical communication is from start to finish and it was great! My Processor went over everything with me and answered all of my questions.
Process was extremely long. There was a lot of confusion as to what my final numbers were for the disclosure.
I have bought homes or re-financed over a dozen times and this was, by far, the smoothest process ever. I honestly thought I was forgetting things because it was too easy. I think this went from initial phone call to signing closing papers, at my kitchen table, in about 3 weeks. Incredible.
The process of refinancing our home loan with PennyMac was a good experience. However, I did not like the 3rd party loan closer. He 'demanded' that I wear a face mask instead of asking me politely. It is MY house and I could have setup an eight foot table as well as wear the mask. I did sanitize the chair and table portion that he used after he left my home.

It was not stressful, but took a long time ,but we were updated every week ,so I would recommend Penny Mac to everyone !
There were several issues with scheduling and the title company. I don't hold Penny Mac completely responsible for the actions of the title company, but I found my self often being the direct conduit to the title company rather than Penny Mac. I'm currently assigned overseas with a seven hour time difference, as a result, I often received calls in the middle of the night, or closings were rescheduled because the title company was attempting to work with me rather than Penny Mac.
