The amount of time taken to close the refinance was ~3 months- understand there is some impact from COVID - but this is totally unacceptable. I am not happy with some of the charges that were included in closing - this was supposed to be a zero closing loan but there were a few that were included and not mentioned to me. Same documents were requested several times and there was lot of confusion. ..

Molly was good at the end of the loan. However, there was confusion with closing numbers and it involved me spending more time with Floyd on the phone to figure it out. Numbers should be 100% before a call is made to the client prior to closing. This is the 2nd refinance with Pennymac and it was a much worse experience than the first time. I can't fault Molly for the whole thing. It was obvious the company's entire system was overwhelmed due to the extremely low rates.

The refinance process was very smooth. I just only spent sometime on my initial call for my refinance, after that it was a breeze and I just had to sign the papers at the end and we were done. Couldn't have asked for a better experience
