All in all the refi process was smooth and efficient, especially once a mac team coordinator was assigned to work with my wife and I. My rep only contacted me once even though she said she'd contact me once a week. The amount I received back wasn't what was agreed on. Several different people called me requesting the same documents I had already sent over. Money originally went to escrow and then finally sent to me. I wasn't sure if I now have to cover escrow since nobody responded to my follow-up emails. I generally have a great experience with PennyMac, and this time was very unpleasant.
