My rep only contacted me once even though she said she'd contact me once a week. The amount I received back wasn't what was agreed on. Several different people called me requesting the same documents I had already sent over. Money originally went to escrow and then finally sent to me. I wasn't sure if I now have to cover escrow since nobody responded to my follow-up emails. I generally have a great experience with PennyMac, and this time was very unpleasant.
Great customer service. Everything easily explained. John B and Layal were awesome. So glad they were assigned to help us get our forever home. They were always on top of things and quickly replied to my email requests.

Took a couple weeks of calling to get the process started because there aren't enough loan officers, but once it's started it went smoothly and easily.
It was prostrating that I reply right away with email but still keep on getting the same request. And I think that’s why it took my refinance too long. I hope this is just because of the covid. Norma was fast in addressing everything. I hope the email goes to the right person and not the generic one.
