I do believe that the weekly follow-ups via email or phone were helpful in set expectations and letting me know what is next
The application process was super easy. I was able to get the application processed in one day. There were a few modifications after my initial application and they were handled swiftly. All appointments were scheduled fast and the vendors were friendly.
PennyMac did a great job refinancing my loan - from start to finish. They matched another quoted interest rate and beat the overall closing costs by $500. All the people were helpful and patient. Thank you!
The process was pretty hassle free through it's entirety. The only issue I had was trying to communicate with my loan officer(s). It was very difficult to get my assigned officers on the phone. I understand the Pennymac is a large company. However, a handful of times I was helped by someone who was not directly involved with my loan at the beginning. That was fine, however, I would have like to have a more direct communication with the person who had been helping my originally.
Even during the COVID-19 challenges, the process went very smoothly.
