Tracy Parker was great throughout the process. She explained everything very clearly and accurately. It has been a great experience working with Tracy and PennyMac for my refinance loan.
The only reason I stayed an finished my loan was Becca of Carmelita she was good to work with an answered questions. Before Carmelita was assigned to my loan this was the biggest shit show I’ve been apart of Once I finished my application I did not hear from the original loan agent again. Not even an email back. He dumped everything onto his assistants lap which the communication was a little better but not much. There were a couple times I had to call an figure things out on my own
Our representative Brittany Claypool was very courteous, informative, prompt, and helpful. She helped us to put our family in a better place financially, amidst a huge pandemic. We appreciate her hard work and dedication to meeting our timeline.

Loan processor and team was great, however underwriting mandated that my loan be processed as non owner occupied even though I do occupy my home. So we had to have the loan reworked which cost me more money at closing.
Overall I had a great experience with PennyMac. Having my mortgage with PennyMac previously, it is somehow comforting to work with the same lender. I don't believe all the closing costs and expenses were clearly explained but this is not the first re-finance I have done so I know the goal is to get the best rate so paying more for points is what has to be done. I just would have wanted that explained so I could make decisions.
Molly Christmas was a pleasure to work with. She was upbeat, friendly, and always got back to me in a timely manner. She was thorough and made sure things happened. Thank you - a great experience, overall.
