Currently out of town but had a concerning afternoon interaction with pet paradise and considered having someone go pick up my dog because I'm concerned she is not being cared for. I signed up for Furever connected where they send you an update and photos of your dog, and I got the report but it had pictures of a dog that was not mine in fact it looked completely different from mine. Amendment- while they do take good care of my babies, I have to say I'm pretty disappointed with some things too. Today when I arrived they had suddenly done away with some of their discount offerings without warning. They cited new management as the reason... just wish that customers didn't have to suffer at the hands of "new management." After using their boarding services for a few years, I am highly disappointed. We went to drop off our 2 dogs before our flight only to be told that they can not keep our boxer. She is not able to use her back legs. We have boarded her with Pet Paradise 3 times in the previous 2 months and there was never an issue. We bring her in using a towel to support her rear legs. I would strongly urge others to look elsewhere when considering somewhere to board their beloved pets. I toured this facility and thought that I did my homework. Boy was I wrong. My dogs stayed here for a week and when we went to pick them up, they smelled horribly of urine. Like they had been sitting in it and my white dog had parts of his fur that were yellow. Our mini schnauzer loathed his visit. He won't stop shaking and even though we packed enough food for 3 extra days he was out upon our return. We would not recommend this establishment nor will we be using them again.

My pets first stay seemed to be flawless. Yet, his second stay caused me great concern. Approximately 17 mins into our car ride home he began to panic and pace back and forth in the back seat, and even try to jump out of the window. I began to smell the scent of defecation and looked back to see he had an accident in the car, which could only lead me to believe he had not been let out of his kennel to "release" himself. I left my dog here last fall, facility seemed clean and everyone seemed nice. We were supposed to be gone 4 days and were gone 9. I have a female German shepherd who was 7 months at the time, she was so friendly and loved everyone, approached strangers. They said the first couple days she was being aggressive (probably fear, I understand that)then after a few days she got used to everyone and was able to have play time but I don't know what they done to her because ever since I picked her up from there she barks at strangers... read more

This place is terrible I will never board my 7yr old Yorkie there again. I boarded my dog for 4 days. On the fourth day they call and tell me I will be charged for another day because I will be picking him up after 7p, bill was 190.00 I was ok with that because my flight was cancelled due to sever weather and thunderstorms here in Atlanta. Don't trust them. We used to drop our dog all the time, and then on one occasion, upon returning from a 14 day trip our dog was emaciated. He lost 13 pounds, and his ribs were sticking out. His coat looked horrible. After requesting an explanation all we got was "he must have played a lot," and "we checked the food logs, and he was fed." Really, then how did he lose so much weight.
