Welcome to Pet Samaritan Clinic Pet Samaritan Clinic was established in the early 1900’s to care for the horses that pulled the trolleys from the Willamette River into the Portland residential area. I've been taking my animals to Pet Samaritan for 28 years. I've always found the staff and doctors to be respectful, compassionate and caring. They offer the best options available for my pet's health, keeping in consideration my financial restrictions. I'd recommend this clinic whole heartedly.

I can't give them enough stars. They always squeeze us in, no matter how busy. They are super kind, from the front desk to the techs to the vets. And the actual care seems to be very high quality. In fact they go out of their way to both update and explain. They don't look fancy from the outside, but I couldn't be happier with this clinic.
I can't say enough about this place. My life is crazy & they are always there when I need something for my dog even when I'm late and need something I should have ordered already They are simply THE BEST. They have taken care of my now 13 1/2 year old Border Collie and I wouldn't take her or any other pet I have in the future any where else!!! Thank you!
I have been taking my pets to Dr. Erickson for 25 years. She takes the time to get to know me and my cats. She is respectful of what my cats tell her about being handled and she responds to their concerns with a soothing voice and gentle touching. She is not put off by their hissing or occasional growls because she listens to me and trusts me to help translate. Most importanrly, Dr. Erickson takes care of the whole family. We love Pet Samaritan. Everyone is really friendly and knowledgeable. We've been going there over 10 yr and so have seen them work with our very elderly cat (lots of health issues) down to new kittens. We especially love Dr. Erickson. She is so sweet with our cats, and manages to distract them so when she gives shots, they don't even flinch the tiniest bit. She gives really thorough explanations, talks about feeding and routine health, and just seems to care.
The Portland clinic is the best they care so much for the animals. I love my Vet Dr.Sue Erickson and all her staff. I have been going to this clinic for more than 30 years. And I wouldn't think of taking my animals anywhere else.
Great service, friendly check in staff, and really knowledgeable vets. I was really happy with the time they took to explain things to me and go over necessity of procedures. I trusted their recommendations and didn't feel like they were trying to upsell me. Really liked the ease of scheduling an appointment online.
