My dog has gone to this place since she was a puppy. They have taken the absolute best care of her always. Today they were so kind to me when we had a little emergency. Thank you everyone at Pet Samaritan!! Robin & Chevelle!

I have been taking my pets...dogs, cats, rabbits, and birds...to Pet Samaritan for the last twenty some years. They are compassionate, friendly, knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and thorough. I have had only good experiences. Karen

Cost-conscious but more than that, friendly and professional - they understand animals and pet-owners. I've had great experiences with both our greyhound and our two cats. Highly recommend Pet Samaritan Clinic!

I ended up at this vet by referral after a horrendous experience at another local office. I had my appt with Dr Davies a couple years ago and never looked back. My first visit she recommended I see a specialist. I respect that my cats problem was out of her range of expertise and she admitted that instead of proceeding and potentially costing me a ton of money on chasing a solution. Dr Davies goes out of her way to answer my questions and explains things in a way I can understand. Having a chronically sick elderly cat is e... read more

Taking my cats to the vet is always an expensive experience which is a constant bummer. It's true that I haven't price checked too much against Pet Sam, but I will say that they always make the bill go down easier because of their incredibly friendly staff and their insurance program. The ladies behind the counter are always, always cheerful. They can get busy in there, but they take it in stride and have been nothing but pleasant and friendly. We also love Dr. Ewing and Dr. Davies, the two vets that we see there. I complete... read more

On the recommendation of a few friends, I took my older cat Blueberry here for a problem claw and some dermatological issues. I had heard that they do pro bono work for a no kill shelter with many elderly cats. They were not only able to see her that day, but also got her records transferred from her previous vet. Blueberry is an indoor only pet and is not at her best when going to the Doctor so I was nervous about how she would take to this experience. The location is very convenient. The waiting room is small and sparse... read more

My poor rabbit had a nasty case of ear mites and the people at Pet Samaritan were absolutely fantastic. Incredibly kind and caring, they really worked with me to be able to get Octavius the care he needed. I will definitely be using Pet Sam as my regular vet. Thank you so much!!

After a terrible experience at Penninsula Dog and Cat Clinic, this place was like an oasis. It came highly recommended by a colleague who has been going there for 12+ years. We ended up having to put our cat to sleep on the second visit...RIP Toni...and they made the experience really warm and comforting. They are really great people - so friendly and so knowledgeable. We love them!!

Cons: not the cheapest vet. Pros: friendly staff that seems very trust worthy. They successfully treated my s.o's dog's abscessed tooth. After having experienced the sub par corporate vets of oregon, who's name rhymes with canfield, it was worth the extra money. Though they don't offer payment plans unless it's an emergency such as an animal being hit by a car, they do accept "comfort credit" a credit card that can only be used at medical facilites.
