During a short vacation, WellNow Urgent Care ****************, NYserved as my emergency place for asthma care. The office staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient, making check-in and getting me into the examination room quick and smooth.Dr. **** **** is relatable and put me at ease; I felt comfortable and confident in his care. The staff were also very friendly.Overall, Wellness Urgent Care is a trustworthy and excellent provider. I highly recommend it for emergency care needs.
I had a great experience at Physicians Urgent Care in ******, **, at 22nd and ***************, on Friday, May 23. ******* was so kind to me. I came in with a bladder infection and he prescribed an excellent antibiotic that cleared it right up. The other staff members were so nice to me, also. ******* was so helpful to me and so was the young lady at the front desk. ******* sent the sample to the lab, and I quickly received a phone call from ******** telling me the antibiotic would be the one to get me better. This urgent care is amazing! Great staff and doctors. I highly recommend this urgent care.
This is the worst customer service for billing I have ever encountered. They billed me over $200 for a visit. They did not allow time for the insurance to get processed and kept billing me . Because of my 850 credit score, I did not want that affected in anyway, so I paid the bill, assuming I would just get a refund once my insurance paid. The insurance paid I never got a refund. I am a disabled combat veteran that used WellNow when I got sick. I am supposed to get three free visits a year (paid for by the VA) and the WellNow location is only a few blocks away from my house. For common colds or ailments, it is more convenient to use WellNow than travel to the VA hospital- which is located 45 minutes from my house. I am filing this complaint regarding improper billing practices by WellNow located at ****************************************************** with ****** **** (provider). My insurance company was billed for procedures that I did not receive. My family has had the need to use this urgent care twice. Both times, the care administered was adequate. However, post-care, the billing process is incredibly flawed. In both cases, claims were submitted to our insurance, but no bill was ever sent to us for copayment. The first time we were aware of our copayment was when we were contacted by a collections agency.
