I brought my teenage son in for a nasty foot injury. We were seen right away and treated with kindness and respect. Sarah Hence the tech and Stephanie Donahoe the PA were efficient and sensitive in their case and knew what they were doing. 13 stitches and a diagnosis of 3 broken bones later, he left with pain management strategies and antibiotics. They also treated my squeamish son without freaking him out.

The physicians and staff were great. My issues are with the front office. I went for a pre surgical checkup and when I left I thought I was finished. However, I didn't know that I would be receiving several follow up calls to sign forms that they forgot to give me. I had to drop everything during work hours to take care of these loose ends. I didn't need this stress right before my surgery.

Lesli Frank, PA was amazing. She was compassionate, patient, and she really listened to me. She asked me questions and took time to allow me to expand on my answers so she could get to the bottom of why I was there. I have experienced providers who quickly dismiss you and assume they know what is wrong without actually listening - Lesli could teach them a thing or two. I made an appointment online and had a short wait when I arrived. I really like my DR and felt she really understood my ailments. I had a breathing treatment, was giving a prescription and was on my way. I would return and would love to see the DR that treated me. Very happy with everything.

I have been to Physicians Immediate Care - Elgin a couple of times when timing was inconvenient for my GP, a weekend or urgent issue that needed xray's right away. I was surprised how quickly things move along from check in to diagnosis. The staff is friendly and efficient in handling paperwork and this most recent visit included an xray when the tech heard what my issue was so I didn't have to see the Dr., wait for xray, wait for diagnosis. I've (unfortunately) been to many doctors offices, hospital ERs, and Urgent care clinics, and without a doubt my experience here was one of the best I've had! From what I can see, the bad reviews are coming mainly from long waits or faulty technology. Everyone was friendly and one of the nurses even went as far as leaving the building to hand my sweater to me that I had left in the room (it's the little things that make a difference, right?). We got our flu shots here this past November. Place is close to my house and easy to find. Staff was friendly and the place was clean. I even had my kiddo's yearly shots there as it was more convenient then his pediatrician and with less wait time.

I took my mom here today at 11:30am. For some reason their door was stuck and was locked when we arrived - but they were open though. After about a minute of waiting outside a nurse came to open the door and kept it propped open with a trash can. Our entire visit took about an hour and a half for a cough. Staff was nice, office was clean, and the staff answered all of her questions, I just thought the wait time was a bit long.
