Works well but... When this works, it works great. Unfortunately it keeps getting itself tied in knots. Also, for some unknown reason it flips over and sprays water out of the pool. This was a replacement for the Turtle version of the same product but I can not trust this one unmonitored due to to its erratic behavior.
Good value Bought to replace my failing Polaris 65. Works well.
Not what I expected. This is not for me,doesn’t pick up small particles,only clean the surface of pool about 45% and stop when run into something
Polaris 65 Vac Sweep Effective. Don't be too quick to trim float hose--run the unit to insure sweeper reaches farthest corner first. otherwise this unit is simple and quick to install. Four stars because jet sweep head and bag assy arrived distorted/warped but customer support was excellent and sent parts right away.
Better than manually vacuuming I’ve owned 2 of these over 8 years. Work well to start but are cheaply made but parts are expensive. Main issue is it stops changing directions and will get hung up on stairs or wind hose up in circle. Also skimmer doesn’t work as well when using and need to run several hours to cover pool. Just replaced with Dolphin S50. Very happy with the upgrade. You will pay more but ease of Dolphin makes it a better value to me.
