Easy to connect to home Wi-Fi, but not sure of how that adds any value. You still have to use the Start button on the machine; hitting the Start button in the app does nothing to prepare either the vacuum or the app's timer. Once started, however, it does a great job on the bottom and side of our pool. Basket is easy to empty, and the included tool works great at pulling it out when done. The unit does a good job at cleaning our pool for both small size and larger size. The only improvement I would want is longer battery life.

This unit will not pick up sand. You have to buy a special fine filter which is out of stock everywhere.

I love the cordless Polaris Freedom. It does great and you don't have to worry about the cord getting tangled.
