    The rebate program is poorly run. Too difficult to navigate, too many requirements for reimbursement. Polaris should just offer $100 lower price as incentive to purchase its pool vacuum equipment and avoid alienating customers by having customers jump so many hoops to get a $100 Visa card.

    The numerous connections is the weak part of the system. Main source of sucking air into the pump which requires bleeding the air out often . When contacted Leslie’s manager for the area for a possible solution was met with less than helpful remarks. Would seriously think of other brand next time buying pool equipment because of her.

    The sale lady I bought it from was great . The company I had to call to help with my rebate was also wonderful

    The Polaris Maxx is only effective to clean the pool floor. My experience is that it does not, as advertised, climb the walls of my pool nor steps. I have a brand new variable speed pool pump and even at max pressure setting, the device simply does not climb the walls. Therefore, in my opinion, the device is not worth the money, and the company is guilty of false advertising. That much said, the floor of my pool is spotless, although Any less expensive pool vacuum can accomplish this.

    The pool cleaner works well. I like it. However, I signed up for the rebate which was not easy to do but I got it done. At the end of sigining up for the rebate, your site thanked me for "registering" my pool cleaner. What? I thought after all of that process that I was going to get my rebate. I was in the portal part of your site for the rebates. Did I sign up for my rebate or did I just get the cleaner registered? I don't know. Can you tell me?     Our Polaris max spends a lot of time just doing 360s. Goes a few feet does another 360 then it does a 360 in the opposite direction goes if you feet starts doing 360s all over again. I’ve called a number of times and tried waiting in the queue, and instead of the time wait going down over time it goes up? The automated system asks you if you’d like a callback without losing your place in line and I tried that a few times and never got a call back! No, I do not recommend the Polaris MAXX.

    I have pebble tec pool surface. The MAXX seams to work best with the skimmer, but I feel like the water circulation is poor. If you have a dedicated suction port (i do) it works ok, won't climb walls as advertised. Randomly stops and you have to pull it out of the water and manually get it back going. The MAXX doesn't work well or at all at lower pump speeds. Disappointed in product at this price point.

    Terrible customer service when trying to get the rebate. They sucker you in with a promise of a rebate card then after you purchase it they ignore you.
