My 280 works great! Picks up leaves, sticks, dirt and small toys off the bottom.

Polaris is THE NAME for pool cleaners. This is my second one. The first lasted over 11 years with only two minor part replacements.

The cleaner picks up debris well but continuously gets stuck in the corners. It’s quite frustrating.

To prevent the cleaner from getting stuck, check the following: 1) Verify proper flow by counting the wheel revolutions per minute (RPMs). 2) Ensure the Back-up Valve is cycling on and off about every three minutes. 3) Adjust the Thrust Jet to change the directional path of the cleaner. My Pool is 13 yrs old, this is my 3rd Polaris 280, it works well. I thought the video was very helpful, this is the first time I ever saw it. Explains how to use it, which was never really explained to me in the past.
