Great value for the money. We are relative new comers to the world of pool maintenance, but we decided to learn by doing. Last season we learned we don't like cleaning the pool manually. Purchased the Polaris because when we moved into this house it already had the booster pump and plumbing installed. The pool stays clean with the Polaris, and even this model climbs the sides and cleans them. Anybody looking for a better way to clean the pool, this is it.
Great Pool Vacuum Our pool had this model orginally it was old and we didnt take care of it so we needed a new one and my husband wanted the same one and it works Great. The price was a lot cheaper than our local pool store for the same item.
It works as advertised. The Polaris Vac-Sweep 280 is a competent machine. I had a little trouble with it going too fast at first, but I learned how to make a few adjustments by watching You Tube videos and now it works like a charm. I run it 1 hr per day and it keeps my 15,000 gallon pool clean as a whistle. It vacuums the bottom and some of the sides. It does exactly what I needed it to do and what the documentation said it would do.
