Should have gotten the Polaris 280 sooner! My old Polaris disintegrated at the end of the season last year after fixing it year after year hoping it would last one more year. Grudgingly I purchased the new Polaris 280 after much research knowing this was the best buy. Seems to work but gets stuck at least 4-5 times per day This pool cleaner was easy to install, and seems to be working. It roams around the pool as it should, but my major complaint is that this thing constantly gets stuck at our stairs. When it does, the small hose shoots up water everywhere - it hits our windows, the side of the house, the outdoor furniture, it has a very long range and just sprays heavy water droplets. It sweeps. Last one lasted 5 years. Of course I had to do repairs to the old one over the years. New one working just fine. I'm saving the good parts from the old one, just in case.

Great product!! Work great, was a replacement for an older one we had for years!!!
May need a professional to install. If you are handy then the installation should not be a problem. However, at 76 years of age I needed to get creative. Or call a pool professional to help with the install.
