Awesome job at great price Awesome, I had a racer that broke after the second season. I did some research and found this classic pool cleaner is still highly recommended. Find it funny since this is then one my parents had growing up. Needless to say it does a great job and I would even go as far as saying it better then my racer. I recommend you watch the setup video, the instructions are hard to follow if it’s your first time to set one up. I am running it off my existing Pentair cleaner pump.

Quality not up to par The tail of the Polaris broke in 1 year since purchase; fortunately the last two digits. So It still works. The bag tore within a year of use. Quality is not up to standards for the cost of this item.
Polarias seems to be declining in reliability I have had a polaris for decades across many pools. seems they last a shorter period of time, fail more often and require more service.
broken axle 3 stars only because when it arrived had a broken axle I would not wait to ship it back and get a new one so I fixed it myself
