Expensive and it stands still on flat surfaces of my pool

Works great. only issue is that it gets hung up on pool steps.
Not a bad cleaner. Parts are readily available and not difficult to replace. Eventually the Pool chemicals and texture of the pool will wear it out. This is my second one and I keep the old one for parts. The issue is it’s overprices for what it is. It’s still cheaper than comparable models. I don’t understand why pool cleaners and parts are so expensive. I guess it reminds you owning a pool is a luxury, not a necessity.

Polaris 280 purchased on Amazon and installed the day it arrived. It is working fine and has saved me hours of pool cleaning.

When our ancient 280 finally gave up the ghost, we didn't hesitate to purchase a new one. The debris bag is larger, which is a nice feature. The hose length is perfect for our 22 x 44 foot, vinyl lined pool. It was quick and easy to assemble. Once attached to the wall port, we turned on the booster pump and it took off! Within an hour the pool bottom was spotless. This was the first cleaning after opening so there was a lot of gunk. We are impressed with its efficiency.

Great product and does a great job clean pool.
The Polaris 280 works good and cleans the bottom of the pool to its best ability but it doesn't do the sides of the pool nor does it do my sunning shelf. I have tried all kinds of different settings to get it to climb the walls or to get on my sunning shelf and it will not do it. the steps it will not do either but as far as cleaning the pool, it does a good job. I just sweep steps and the shelf off before the equipment cuts the polaris on.
