Loved it at first, but after about 6 months, the hose curls up badly preventing the Polaris from reaching very far. I’ve tried laying it out in the sun straight and that helps for a short time but goes right back to curling up.

I love the Polaris. It makes having a pool so much easier.
It's working okay. It gets tangled a lot. The pool tech has come out and tweaked it several times. Hopefully with the right amount of tweaking it will stop tangling.

It is working well without tangles in the line. Easy to change and empty bag.
Polaris 280 isn’t the biggest and fanciest with lots of extras - it is simply a really good pool sweep. If it has issues, which our old one didn’t until it got pretty old - it is easy to fix. I brought our old one back to life twice before the reverse valve split. No fault of the sweep, but we decided it was time to replace. Got the new one, hooked it up and it took off like it was supposed to. It was quickly obvious how poor our old one was cleaning. It works well, but it sprays outside the pool too much. The spray makes windows and glass doors look bad.
