Requires a booster pump and dedicated return line I have had this Polaris 280 for several years now and have only had to vacuum the once due to a sandy dog. It keeps the bottom of the pool almost perfect running 2 hours a day.

Use the correct baffle. Two come with the unit. My old 280 has been a faithful helper for 12 years with some rebuilds and updates over the years. I ordered a new one and what a difference. No need to spend more on a pool cleaner/sweeper. This thing arrived in 3 days and my pool was clean that same day. Great product.
