Awesome it does the job
We had a simular Polaris for 20 years. We decided to buy a new one b/c the old one simply quit moving. As soon as I installed my new Polaris 280, I smiled so big. Leaves don't stand a chance in my pool now. It stays crystal clear. Thank you so much. However, I sure wish there was a rebate on my model. We spent over $600.00 replacing the old one.
This is my third Polaris, second 280. The last one made it 13+ years. I only replaced it because it just needed too many parts to make it work properly. These units are mostly trouble free and easy to use. The last thing I want to do is clean my pool. So the 280 is the way to go.

Way to use and quick to clean!
First one I had last about 20 years. Did require a few rebuilds. If lasts as long I'll be very happy.
Does a fair job of picking up dirt and leaves ect. My only complaint is after a couple of weeks the bag developed a hole. The dealer ( A-1 pool in Yakima) replaced it at no cost.
This Polaris is great. It replaces an older one. This bad boys just crawls around and get any leave or dirt. Great purchase
