Love my Polaris 280. It does a great job getting to all parts of the pool. The only issue I have is the small hose with the sponge sweeper occasionally gets caught on my automatic pool filler that hangs on the side of the pool.
It’s a great pool cleaner. Easy to set up and very reliable. This is my third Polaris in 29 years but my first 280. Would not have any other.
We just began using the Polaris and our pool is staying so clean!
Very pleased with performance
So far the cleaner has worked great and seems to be working good. We will see if it continues, for the cost of the unit it should do a good job and last for a long time.
Only complaint is the connection hose gets tangled up with the sweep constantly and I need to untangle at least once daily. Not good if I go away. I have lots of trees that drop leaves.

Hi Kathy, Thank you for the review. We're sorry you're experiencing hose tangling. There are a few common causes for hose tangling on pressure cleaners such as improper hose length or hose float positions, malfunction of the G52 back-up valve, retained hose memory, and temperatures below 60 degrees causing the hose to become stiff. This vacuum is fun to watch. It has a "tail" that swishes back & forth as it cleans. My grandchildren love it when it comes up to the surface & sprays them. Our pool is clean & free of stuff on the bottom & sides.
Excellent product. A must to have to keep your pool clean. Love this product. Very easy to setup and put in use. A+
