I like the Polaris 280 but this particular one had some problems This was a replacement so I knew what I was getting. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because the float was cracked and slowly filled up with water. The cleaner was running on its side and the reverse function wasn't working. I thought I was going to have to send the whole thing back until I figured out what was wrong. I replaced it with the one from my old cleaner and all is well. Great product. Received a unit that was broken which we returned and our money was promptly refunded-thank you. We ordered a new unit, have been using a for a month or so and it works great! Performance is much better than a robot we had previously.
Great product. So for so good. Works great. This is our second one, our last one lasted 13 years. The old one was still working but had slowed down a lot. We live in North Al. We only take it out of our pool when we have company over to swim. Stays in pool all year.
