Go big or go home As a true fan of Brother's PT series of labelers, I found the PT-D200, marketed as "easy to use" much more difficult to use than its more full-featured brethren. The screen is annoyingly small and difficult to read. There are no fixed type sizes, so you are left choosing small, medium, or large. Useless Machine! Useless machine! It's not accurate and the keypads are poorly-made.
The batteries die within a few weeks, so be prepared to replace the batteries every time you use it - 6 AAA batteries It takes 6 AAA batteries and they will be dead every time you go to use it, even if you power it off. I don't use it frequently, maybe once or twice a month and I have to put SIX new batteries in every time I use it. EVERY TIME. I've spend more on batteries than I did for the label maker. It eats, explodes, and dies. This piece of equipment was a huge disappointment for several reasons. Before I get to that, let me go over the positives: 1. There are plenty of features on this label maker, including symbols, fonts, font sizes, two-line labels, and the ability to print multiples. 2.
