Don't bother.... A total waste of money. The batteries drain completely gone after about a week and two labels made. I bought the power adapter and it doesn't work unless there are fresh batteries. Another waste, as they then drain after another week. The margin settings don't work and I still get labels far too wide even under "auto margin" settings and have to trim by hand (duh, they'll sell more tape this way). I have two older models and love them but they ended up in storage so I bought another one but will give it to t... read more

Maybe I can find a better one and sell this one in a yard sale Do you want to replace batteries all of the time? If so, this item is for you. It is so frustrating to even own this device. I wish I didn't need it. Maybe I can find a better one and sell this one in a yard sale.

Not the best labeler, but it's cheap. I wanted a labeler for occasional office and household use, so this Brother model got my attention due to the low price. Right off the bat, I didn't like the large size of the unit. The print outs are also quite wasteful and inefficient unless you're printing with the default margin size. If you use any margin smaller than the default size, you have to manually cut the rear end of the label down to size. The labeler prints a ":" sign indicator telling you where to cut it. For an occasion... read more

Dishonest fraud by design to sell more tape cartridges. No settings can fix this. Other label makers don't do this. Buyer beware An absolute scam to sell more tape cartridges by wasting 1-inch of tape on each side of the printed label. I have called customer support and confirmed that its by design and there are no setting available to stop this from happening. No matter what settings you do, you will waste at least 1-inch of tape to the left of your label. I also own an Epson label maker which looks almost identical to this... read more

Drains Batteries fast I like the device overall. What I don't like is how fast is sucks the life out of the batteries. The manufacturers decision to use AAA batteries was not a good one.

and it is not something you can easily fix. Really like this labeler but won't be ... Worked well for a few months but developed a bend in the contact point for one of the batteries...and it is not something you can easily fix. Really like this labeler but won't be getting this particular model again.

Not efficient Wastes an inch of tape before every word, even when the length is set to auto and margins are set to non-existent.
