Doesn’t work!! I got this back in February and finally got it out to use it and it doesn’t work I am so disappointed. Trying to figure out how to reach out to the company.
Battery leakage issue, poor customer service In less than a year, the batteries (high quality duracell AAA, stored in dry environment) leaked into the battery slots, and the entire labelmaker broke. Brother is unwilling to cover/repair under warranty. I'm not sure what's the cause of this since I have many devices with batteries stored in the device without leaking, especially since it's <1year. Just be wary of storing your batteries in this device. It seems silly to have to take the batteries in/out after every use though.
Turns off when I hit print! I bought this one year ago. I finally put batteries in it and was ready to get organized! Sadly every time I pushed the print key the device would turn off. Now it is too late to return it. I'm so disappointed. Woe is me.
Chinese junk cheapest way to go watch shark tank all about the profit Broken already adorable. One month. The sell you aftermarket tapes and there must have been something wrong with it it . Tape jammed in it and broke feeder. Typical junk they sell for replacement parts. Very dissatisfied. D. Morrow
Wastes way too much space on lead No option to adjust the ~1" of wasted label in front of every single print. What a waste. It's funny when you search this issue the top results on google are of brother explaining why this is "needed." No Search engine optimization funny business there. if it weren't for this issue, it's a great label maker, but that issue is so greedy I can't recommend this label maker.
Clunky device, fuzzy lettering Have an older P-Touch that is easy to handle and use with clear, sharp, readable printout, yet had enough features. This one is like going from driving a VW Bug to a 747 jet. Way too many features I don't need. Accessing the simplest features is quite complicated. Usage is not intuitive and instructions are not clear or well organized. Big and clunky for holding in the hand. Buttons are narrow and too close together for comfortable, accurate pressing. Missing Power Cable I received this item and was ready to use it to start labeling my wires. Upon opening the package, I noticed that there was no tape closing the box, which made me suspect. And as it turns out, not only was my machine exposed and outside of its bag, but the power supply was missing. I don't have the time to return this item and do not want to risk my health by going to the post office to return it.
