SO MUCH WASTED TAPE!! This handheld device is very easy to use, but like all the other similar reviews report, this thing wastes a lot of tape! There is at least 1.5in to 2in of wasted tape between prints. Still trying to figure out the best way to conserve tape. Otherwise the print quality is good, the tape adheres well and it satisfies my labelling needs as long as I order a lot of refill tape.
Not easy fir kid! My 11 year old granddaughter had a hard time working with this. She finally gave up so sad.

Great Label Maker It makes nice looking labels. One can change the font and font size. Due to where the cutter is in relation to the print head it It does seem to waste too much tape before and after the words that are printed, but I used a scissor to trim that portion. It does NOT come with batteries, and it needs a lot of batteries to be installed. Instead of batteries, I'm using a Universal AC/DC Adaptor with 9V output to power it.
so many icons. Dymo punch tape is more expensive than this. DYMO SUCKS!!
Nice flexibility but wastes print tape unecessarily I like everything about this label printer except for the wasted print tape. If tape refills are where they make their money, there is probably not much incentive to improve this, but it is frustrating to have to use 4 or 5 inches of tape for a one inch word. But this complaint is minor compared to nice selection of fonts and sizes, and overall print quality for the price.
TZ tapes do not work - needs new TZe tapes It’s affordable and it works. HOWEVER, don’t be misled by any ‘net info that says the TZ tape and the TZe tapes are interchangeable. They’re not! I bought this specifically because I have a surplus of TZ tapes (my last p-touch died even after keeping it protected in a shoe box!) and wanted to use them up. TZ tapes DO NOT work.
This Label Maker like every others one print out a lot of black space! It is very easy to use but like other people have said it waste lots of paper if you only print like a few words. That's why you should try to think of all the words you want to print so you can type them out and print them out all at once. Maximum of words that you can print is up to around 390, that include the space between word which count at one every time you enter space.
