Although dismayed by the noise level, on every other criteria, Redeye Grill was great. It was perfectly located, as we were attending a concert at Carnegie Hall. The wait person was intelligent, gracious, and provided wonderful service. Our food was extremely good -- a high compliment in that two of us ordered fish, and it was perfectly cooked.
I took my son for a birthday dinner. The service was fabulous. The Manager sent champagne to our table to begin our celebration. She also dropped by during our meal to make sure everything was going well. Our waiter was also terrific - very attentive. My son and friend and ordered delicious steaks. I had the Sole which was delicate and perfectly prepared. I let the Manager know that my son doesn't like chocolate, so a large slice of banana cream pie was served with a candle. Great fixed price menu and choices for any diet. The seafood was as delicious as the steak. Wonderful wine list and knowledgable waiter. I highly recommend for business or pleasure.
A pleasant surprise. The Redeye Grill has stepped up their game -- the food was really great and the service ..... Oh oh oh super attentive, friendly and we really felt special. Can't really single one person out -- everybody made us feel that they were glad to see us. Terrific
Wonderful location and food (they have one of the best Cobb Salads anywhere!)... Service while very friendly was surprisingly slow for a restaurant that was no where near full to capacity...
We had a very nice brunch here. The endless mamosa was a great deal. Frittata was tasty. Service was friendly but. Little slow. Cool paintings and art with a great location by Carnegie hall
We had sensational meal...served efficiently allowing uus to make an 8 pm show. They did this even though our guest were late like 6:45...While we waited we had great cocktails and shrimp at the bar...live music was perfect!!! All and All we are going back
I had the opportunity to eat at RedEye Grill for the second time and I must say that it is consistent. The ambiance, the food and the service were all excellent. I'm not a steak eater, but since my favorite Lobster Lasagna was taken off the menu, I decided to try the Filet Mignon Oscar, which was so tender you could cut it with a spoon...it was topped with a flavorul serving of lump crabmeat, served on a bed of grilled asparagus in a bernaise sauce...I also enjoyed the Four Cheese Mac N Cheese Casserole, which was a sinful d... read more
