The name does not lend to the fine dining experience you will find at The Redeye Grill. it is as upscale as some of the finest eateries on the upper east side. The design is exquisite, the staff well trained and focused on your experience and the food was so far above expectations, I actually ATE my Brussels sprouts! I would recommend this restaurant highly for any and all occasions as I look forward to returning there in the very near future.
Two things ordered were not brought to us. One I canceled, one we aske for to go. They were very nice and apologetic, but that only helps so much. Food was good, but expensive. Excellent live music. Very happily surprised about that.
High energy, delish food, and prompt friendly service equal a great experience. Save room for the Banana Cream pie!
Great martinis. Friendly staff. Tasty onion rings. Rib eye was excellent. A return visit on our next trip to the city is in order.
Good Service. Tastey menu with a hefty price tag. the amount of food has exponentially decrease as the year passes.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone thats appreciate nice music, friendly staff, good atmosphere and location is perfect.
I have read some recent bad reviews and I was very surprised by them. I have been coming to the Redeye for more than 10 years and my experience on Monday was consistent with those in the past. Service, food and ambiance were all very good. Two of us had the scallops which were great and the other guest had dover sole. I always tell others to go here and I have always thought it was on the best fish restaurants in the city.
The restaurant is across from Carnegie Hall and real convenient to concert goers. The food was very good and the drinks also. We would go back again for sure.
Excellent food and service. This restaurant is a real find with many choices.
