The salad was 99% lettuce and had almost NONE of the additional ingredients listed on the menu - candied walnuts, feta cheese, etc. it was drowned in dressing! The cost of the salad as served was WAY OVERPRICED! I have no intention of going to this restaurant again……..

After being a regular customer for at least ten years I will not return. I had a proper reservation for 5.30 and was told that the rest tables were all booked for 6 so we’d have to be put in the front room of the bar where we were promised it would be quiet. Nonsense. There was loud, horrible thrumming of electronic music from the time we were seated. And for two drinks each plus an entree each $200 is an absolute rip off for the mediocre at best food served there. Avoid at all costs!

My husband and I went to celebrate his birthday. We were welcomed by Richard. We had a great table. The waiter was friendly but not attentive. We were served our appetizer without the sauce. When asked for pepper with my meal and some ice water. He forgot both as he was running around to other tables. When we finally were ready for dessert it took a long time for him to come back. We watched others have their birthday acknowledged but not us. This was disappointing. We also waited a very long time to come back so we could pa... read more

Service was terrible. Seated at 7:50pm. Drink order taken fairly quickly, however drink wasn't brought to our table until 8:40pm. No one came to our table in the interim. Ordered an appetizer and two entrees. Food runner brought our entrees, but no appetizer. After we finished our entrees our waiter came to our table and said they were all out of the appetizer we ordered and asked if wanted another one. Ridiculous! Also, our waiter never came by to refill our water glasses. Overall, very poor service.

Dancing Shrimp were overcooked. Yellowtail roll was a bit fishy. Waiter was more focused on other tables. Really disappointing for the money spent. Definitely not the same level of culinary perfection as the Red Eye Grill I knew and loved.

Came with friends last night fot dinner. Seated in large booth in the corner, very roomy and quiet. We all had the Restaurant Week menu which was a great value. Wine by the glass vg too. Our only issue was that no bread basket was served. We had to spend an xtra $10 for garlic bread. We always dine on Long Island and bread is always included. My hubby was turned off by this so we will not return, not after spending $190 per couple. Food for thought. .

VERY disappointed in quality of food - we had the "dancing shrimp" which is what they are known for and had to spit out a lot of the shrimp AND the pineapple served with it was rancid and not edible - we advised the waiter and were still billed for it - the other food we ordered was underwhelming - the onion rings were OK tho -decor was interesting
