My family and I lived in Springfield for nine years (2000-2009) and we took our vehicles to Rick's for work. We always found the service staff first class-individuals with equally first class work and service. I was recently stranded in Springfield with a dead battery, no alternator, and if they hadn't caught it, a leaking radiator. They could have easily told me that it would be a day or two to get the parts to fix my car, but they were able to get it done the same day, giving me the ability to get home safely. Thanks, guys!
I am a mechanic myself, so I usually work on my own vehicles unless it takes specialized equipment don't have like recovering and charging a A/C system properly. While sitting in the lobby waiting for my repair I was listening to how they treated their customers, and not once did they try to upsell anyone which was refreshing to hear. When they spoke with me they were honest and didn't try to go all out on the repairs when they could have easily.
