This review is only for their dog training services. I have not had the opportunity to use their facility for boarding, grooming or training. Since my puppy has been under quarantine until all of his puppy vaccinations were complete - 2 long months, I decided to try their at home training service. I am very impressed with my trainer, fully certified, up to the minute on all of the non-aversive methods and guru's. And an extra set of eyes on my puppy and his behavior. Well worth it if you can afford it.
We have been boarding my beagle at Rover Oaks in Katy for over 5 yrs. He loves to play with other dogs so their daycare is ideal for him . The staff is very professional and friendly. The facility is clean and spacious . We have boarded our dog up to ten days there and when we pick him up he is always clean and happy! We always feel comfortable leaving our dog in their hands when we have to go away which makes our vacation so much more enjoyable. The good manners training at Rover Oaks Katy was a really good introduction to helping us help our rescue dog develop better behaviors. Andrea was an excellent trainer! She did a wonderful job teaching each of us the best ways to interact with our pets and reinforce the positive behaviors. She was very patient and it was obvious that she's in the right job!!
We are so happy to have a trusted facility like Rover Oaks in Katy to board our dog. The staff has always been courteous and professional and our dog loves them. The facility is secure and clean and offers many boarding options from which to choose. We also take advantage of their grooming and training programs. It has been so convenient to have one group of professional offer so much for the care and well-being of our best friend over the past five years.
This is the best place in Katy to take your pet for boarding and training. I adopted my dog PooBich here and Joy Lee saved his life. She has dedicated her life to caring for injured and unwanted dogs. She is the owner extraordinaire with a heart of gold. Go there for the wonderful dog and cat amenities like a huge play place to socialize but go there more importantly to support a local business that gives back. Really a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Rover Oaks for saving my dog and getting him home safe!
I feel confident leaving my two dogs at Rover Oaks Katy since they always come home healthy and happy. They do a good job there, and because I know this, I can relax and enjoy my vacation.
I have used Rover Oaks in Katy for training, Grooming and Boarding and I love how they treat my pet. The staff seems to be very caring and my dog seems to be happy every time i pick him up. The only thing I would like to see them do is to add cameras so we can see our pets when we are away. That would make a big difference to me. Other than that, I have no complaints about it.
We took our dog Violet in for her spring grooming after her hair grew out over the winter. They had everything on file from the last time we got her hair cut (even documenting the initial miscommunication on her cut length). She looked great, they tied a cute little bandana on her, and she loves going there. Any time we pull up to Rover Oaks, she knows where she's going and she gets so excited, and we haven't even tried Doggie Day Care yet!
We love Rover Oaks! Here's why. Dad had a severe stroke in October. It forced him out of his home of 30 years in central Texas and into a series of hospitals.
