If I could give minus stars I would. Had to give one star so it would post. The training at this place sucks. Specifically, the trainer named Sam. Once she got my money, I never heard from her again. Despite more than one email and phone calls with questions. We showed up for puppy class and were not allowed in because we hadn't carried our almost 40 pound German Shepherd puppy in. I hate to write this. We have boarded many times and done lots of training at Katy and the Astrodome area location. I thought RO was the best - you know they're not rated #1 anymore - here's one reason - and I can not believe they would do this to two wagging dogs today so happy to be there: This is a hard one to write and never thought I in a million years but maybe something changed. We brought our rescued dog to the training facility at Rover Oaks Katy recently. It was once a week for an hour long. Started off ok, but the last few classes, we did not feel we got our money's worth. The trainer in the Katy location was nice, but seemed to get off on a lot of tangents/off topic, talked about herself and her own dogs, while we are sitting there paying her to train our own dog! The staff here is so rude the ladies at the front turned their noses up at me when I walked in and then all but flat out accused me of forging documents for cat vaccinations. Who does that?! After calling the veterinarian we got the situation resolved and then they decide to tell me that the days I wanted to board my kitten are not available. Smdh, thank God for PetSmart.

Grooming- have been taking our girls there for years, and suddenly a couple of weeks ago they seemed scared and not happy to be there. The grooming was not what we usually have done and they scratched themselves all day after coming home. We learned after the fact that they had a new groomer, and did not have our preferences on file anymore, and also that they had started using a different line of shampoos. Update!! Met with manager for a moment today. Very apologetic and booked Annie out for Saturday's in the future. It's all about communication! Terrible customer service here. Brought dog in for evaluation and since then it is impossible to get to day care. If you call you're either sent to v-mail or placed on hold extremely too long. Not exaggerating, I was just now on hold for 8 mins to check availability for daycare and just hung up.
I came in this morning to drop off my dog for her grooming appointment and when I checked in I was asked if I had her shot records with me. I told her that I sent them in via fax at the time I made my appointment last week. She said they never received them. I was bothered by that considering I took time out to do so and they never got it but I pulled up her records online through my vets website. I called at 10:30 in the morning to see if they had room today to groom my two year old puppy. They asked me how soon I could get there and I said 15-20 minutes. So they said they could get her in. At 4:10 I got a call saying that she was too aggressive to bathe. My dog has been groomed on numerous occasions by numerous groomers and I have never been told that she's anything but sweet. I boarded my 2 cats (sisters) for 15 days in May 2014. I found the kennels extremely small for the cost, but as it was my first time boarding my cats in the US, I used Rover Oaks on a referral.
