We took our dog Violet in for her spring grooming after her hair grew out over the winter. They had everything on file from the last time we got her hair cut (even documenting the initial miscommunication on her cut length). She looked great, they tied a cute little bandana on her, and she loves going there. Any time we pull up to Rover Oaks, she knows where she's going and she gets so excited, and we haven't even tried Doggie Day Care yet!

We love Rover Oaks! Here's why. Dad had a severe stroke in October. It forced him out of his home of 30 years in central Texas and into a series of hospitals. Pop had to sell his house, but after months of hard work, he moved from his last neuro-rehab facility into an independent senior community here in town. This is the only place I've taken my two yorkies for boarding and the only place I ever plan on taking them while we live in Houston! They've done day care several times and boarded on three different occasions. I live inside the 610 loop but drive out to Katy because of the quality of service here. Rover Oaks is a great place to leave your dog. The facility is top notch and the staff is really nice. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Our Corgi, Cooper, always comes home a happy dog. Love getting the report card to see how he did while we were gone. Their salon does a nice job grooming. My husband took Cooper there for a training class and they had great success.

I was referred by CAPS to train our newly adopted 2mo old lab mix. She had been returned twice to CAPS due to behavior issue. After we completed manners classes. We started weekly daycare to socialize our pup, Roxy. And when we left town a few days we boarded her there at the Katy facility. The staff was excellent. The facility superb, the training top notch! My 40 yr vet Dr. Hicks at Old Town Vet reffered us there to Jim as well.

I have been using Rover Oaks in Katy for the last year and it has been great! I rescued an English Bulldog that was a year and a half old and had no training or discipline. Jim and Amy have been great partners in helping me to train him. I use Rover Oaks exclusively when I need to leave town and he loves going! Everyone there is so nice and welcoming. They truly love my bulldog! Over the last year, I have had no complaints at all. Very happy.

After finding out I needed to leave town unexpectedly, I was in a rush to find a quality place that would take great care of my Labrador and cat. I had in my mind that I didn't want to put them in a "typical" kennel where they would be left in dirty cages and no interaction from humans. We have been taking our lab mix to Rover Oaks for almost 6 years now. She has been there for doggy day care as well as boarding. She loves everyone there and has always had excellent care. Maddie gets so excited as we near their drive each and every single time. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone using Rover Oaks for their fur babies.

My chihuahua stayed here for 10 days and was very spunky and playful when I picked her up. The staff is very friendly and professional. I left a voicemail to check on her and the staff called me right back with a status report. It's a little pricey but at least I was given a military discount! A+ in my book just for supporting us Veterans! We will be back!!
