This place is absolutely fucking dog water. When i got there they made me change into an underwear and i dont even remember if they gave me a bra or anything. I had to change in FRONT of them to do a skin check and im not sure if they even looked away while i was changing out of my clothes. All the windows were blocked off and the place itself was unsettling to me. When i first walked into the kids unit i was shaking horribly and i was scared. horrible honestly i have no words i went there when i was 17 back in early 2022 worst experience ever i was bunked in a room with a person who had literally attacked another patient for no reason that afternoon (i got there at midnight) i was forced to move my mattress by myself with no help from the staff into an isolation room because the other patient was being to loud for me to sleep a couple days later i was forced to watch this patient attack staff while we were locked in the day room helpless and forced to watc... read more
staff does not care about patients very rude and lazy had chest pain real bad sent me out told dr just do blood work and send her back even if she has chest pain staff slow to respond please do not send your son or duaghter
Having intimate knowledge of a situation that should not exist. Isolating a patient in a room with "temperature issues" is inhumane and cruel! As I have come to know this place through the experiences of a family member, do not place anyone you care about in this place!
Billing department is non-functional, deceptive, unethical, and unprofessional. They charge what you never agree. Their online payment system not working. Never returns emails, phonecalls. The phone payment staff takes down your credit card number but never processes. Once they agree they offer discounts, then they avoid fixing the bill, then toss to collection service for the amount that you never agreed. This facility needs California state level audit for fraudulent business.
This place is absolutely horrific. The staff especially rn nurses are awful. They hate there jobs and have some bad attitude. They have a high turnover of staff too.
I saw a review here who had a similar experience as I did a few years earlier, so I want to add mine in I got discharged three days ago Kaiser did send me to that mental hospital because they "Didn't have space" They didn't even look at my meds and tried making me take, aspirin for my nonexistent blood clot made me higher my dosage on my anti-depressant (which was fair) tried making me take Tylenol or melatonin for my possible insomnia (They are NOT supposed to mix up with my anti-depressants.) even tried buying a machine... read more
patients in this outpatient program are not allowed to make plans with their peers (friends.) outside of the group?? if you are sharing deep, vulnerable experiences and literal trauma with people you most likely want to have interactions with them outside of a clinical environment. it's ridiculous that this is not allowed. i completed an outpatient program where they ENCOURAGED us to be friends outside of group to create our own supportive relationships with each other that could naturally continue after graduating the progr... read more
Do everything that you can to avoid you or your loved ones being placed here. I went in and told them upfront as I was being transferred from the hospital into the ambulance that I had C. difficile. They proceeded to admit me through three people who knew that. They then took me to my own room and told me that I was not allowed to come out because of the cdif "Until we figure out what we're going to do with you".
