patients in this outpatient program are not allowed to make plans with their peers (friends.) outside of the group?? if you are sharing deep, vulnerable experiences and literal trauma with people you most likely want to have interactions with them outside of a clinical environment. it's ridiculous that this is not allowed. i completed an outpatient program where they ENCOURAGED us to be friends outside of group to create our own supportive relationships with each other that could naturally continue after graduating the progr... read more
Do everything that you can to avoid you or your loved ones being placed here. I went in and told them upfront as I was being transferred from the hospital into the ambulance that I had C. difficile. They proceeded to admit me through three people who knew that. They then took me to my own room and told me that I was not allowed to come out because of the cdif "Until we figure out what we're going to do with you". The first day in the morning a hospital doctor came in and said "you shouldn't be here, this is a public health h... read more
The phone line is horrible! This place is unprofessional and you should not be taking your loved ones to this place at all. The rooms are disgusting and the people you have to share them with are strange. If I could rate it zero stars I would.
This is from patient point of view my Husband. If you have a loved one , don't send anyone here the doctors are incompetent and don't understand the meaning of compassion their only goal is to protect their job, there is no reason to keep a person there more then four days. The days drag on and most of the time you're watching tv or locked in your room with nothing to do. This place doesn't accomplish anything but makes matters worse.
I write this review with our understanding (from what our son told us) that much of the daily attending staff was fine, so this poor review is NOT directed towards them; rather, the issues seem to be with the the evaluating doctors/psychiatrists(and therefore hospital admin as well), as well as the receptionist. Hopefully, this helps others navigate this travesty. To begin: We had performed an intervention with our son and took him to Kaiser for an emergency evaluation. After a day, Kaiser transferred him to San Jose Behavio... read more
So there's been a long drawn out battle over my elderly grandmothers care, with my uncle doing everything he can to send her away so he can sell her house. So 2017 he managed to get her into this place, and from reading the reviews it sounds like much of the same. Thing is i've had experience in dealing with these kinds of places and it's pretty easy to get them on the defensive to release your loved one, especially if there's an ongoing court case. For me that meant reaching out to the court investigator and the district ... read more

This is the absolute worst facility. My family member was discharged from this facility without my knowledge - and I am her emergency contact and am in charge of her healthcare/treatment. The horrible people and case worker at this facility lied to me and my family multiple times about discussing her treatment plan and keeping us posted with her progress (mind you my aunt signed an ROI so this was fine to discuss with me). When I asked her, Emily is her name, what medications my aunt was being given at this facility she said... read more
This was the worst experience of my life!! I suffer from PTSD and this place will forever be my worse memory of my life. I will forever be scared from this experience. When you phone Kaiser, the first thing you get is a recording saying "if you feel like you have a medical or psychiatric emergency either call 911 or go the the nearest hospital". I went to the nearest hospital because I was being emotionally abused by my ex-boyfriend and need my anxiety meds. They held me at the hospital for 24 hours then decided to tran... read more
