I moved out my belongings after they decided to raise the rent $50.00 per month without notice. Then after moving out on the 13th of the month they advised me that I will not be reimbursed for the remainder of the month.

I just moved out of my Public Storage locker in *********, **. Why? Because they raised my rent 200% over the 20 months of my stay there. While I expect inflation raises of 5-15% annually, Public Storage (PS) takes big advantage of the fact that you have already paid a lot of money, and spent a lot of time, moving-in, so they know they have you - they are the worst kind of bullies. I reserved a unit at the ********** location which has no rental office but instead a kiosk where a love agent appears on the screen to help you check and finalize your unit. They had issues with the reservation that was given to me. I tried several different to reach someone. I was on a deadline and needed to have a unit that day. They ended up putting in a location 20 miles away from home and charging me for it. I rented a Public Storage Unit at ***************************** - Be Warned! Their online rates and their "walk in" rates are DIFFERENT. It's more affordable to rent a unit, sight unseen, ONLINE - you'll save almost DOUBLE THE PRICE. Great, right? NO! In a few months, they will raise your rate on the monthly fee and also raise the rate on your insurance. Now that I know better, I will never go this route again! Id leave a zero if I could. They do not care if:Your a veteran Victim of human trafficking Victim of domestic violence Or that youre homeless because of crime If you care about your belongings. If you have C-PTSD and have memory problems they will take your triggers for your positive memories and auction your belongings at 31 days. They will not work with you. And even though its on their website that they will return your photos and important papers they will not!! DO NOT USE THEM If you care about your belongings!

Terrible experience, raised the prices so high. They let someone break into my storage 3 times. I lost all my grandparents items who raised me. At the end they auctioned all my stuff off after raising the price so high no one could afford it. DON'T GO HERE
