Dealer and Fees they won't explain 1555 dollars in fees on top of the advertised price. One of my friends who is a bit naive at buying a used vehicle brought me in before he made his final descision to buy a vehicle. Asked the sales manager what the fees were to equal that much and was told we had been in 5 times and it doesn't matter because the price "is what it is". Don't be swindled paying fees which equate to extra profit for the dealership. I've been reading review after review of their accidental mistakes leading to h... read more

You lost two loyal customers today My husband and I have been a loyal customer of this dealership, we bought our highlander there in feb this dealer seemed to have the best perks, today when he walked in to get his last free oil change they wouldn’t honor it because it was expired by two weeks. Conveniently they did not mention that last time we were here. Instead of doing the right thing by the customer they literally refused to honor it. Rob the manager clearly stated that he would rather loose a customer then honor the oi... read more

Poor service On 12/01/18, I went in to have my new Tacoma for an oil change. My friends and I were going to golf after and left our golf clubs in the back of the truck. I was greeted by an service advisor and walked with him to his desk. He ask if I was here to have an oil.change and i replied yes. He handed me a piece of paper and told me to sign it, I did. And there I waited. .....when I was told my truck was ready, I walked out and discovered my clubs with head covers were all wet and golf bags were fill with water. I tol... read more

Lied about completing safety inspection. Wipers don’t work. I bought a used car from David Maus Toyota because I thought they had a good reputation. I could have gotten a cheaper used car for my 17 year old son at a corner used car lot but we spent more (10,000) to get a decent used car at a reputable dealership. I was told a safety inspection was completed. This should in the least include making sure the wind shield wipers work. The tires should also be safe. My son found out the wind shield wiper did not work in the middl... read more

Business response:

Thanks for the feedback and it is never our goal to sell a vehicle with any safety issues. We do a safety inspection on all our pre-owned vehicles to make sure they are road worthy. Just out of curiosity did you have a chance to look the car over before you bough it to make sure it was up to your standards before you spent the money on a car for your son. Mostly I am sorry that John Higgins came off as suggestive that your son lost the wheel lock key.

Bad experience ever They tried to sell an old car for the price of a new one. And I was asked to sign the papers for a car that I had not even seen. How could I define them? Pillagers might be the least for them. What do they use to "sell a car"? They use bait on FaceBook, they lure you with false ads. You may find more words in the dictionary, such as: decoy, deceive, dupe, delude, hoodwink, bluff, rip off, juggle, double-cross, etc. They are a shame!!! I'll never go back to David Maus Toyota, ever!

Business response:

Jeff thanks for your review of our dealership. To clarify some of our staff was posting vehicles on FB and other social media and had not had proper training. They have been trained now and we are have corrected any issues.

Service Advisor terrible customer service I was not informed my car ready. The car was parked and ready for over 1/2 hour. SA never came to inform me and I couldn’t find when I went looking for him.

Business response:

Thank you for your review. We are always looking to improve and would love to find out more about this specific incident. Please reach out to me at your earliest chance: Robert Hurlbert, rhurlbert@vtaig.com.

Unbelievably unhelpful We started at David Maus Chevrolet. Worked with a nice young man there but did not like any car we drove. It was suggested to try the Avalon at David Maus Toyota where the same car sales person we just had been working with could sell there also. We went across street and drove the Avalon. We liked it. Came back the next day. Drove into David Maus Toyota and told them we had been working with the sales person (gave them his name) yesterday. Person said, “oh he probably isn’t working today.” We told her... read more

Business response:

Smanny Thanks for the review and I wanted to see what I could do to help. Not sure who Davin is unless you are referencing D.R. But regardless whoever worked with you should have let you know that they cross sell pre-owned cars from Chevy to Toyota and vice versa. Because of Toyota and Chevrolet training and certifications our sales staff cannot sell new vehicles that they are not trained on or certified to sell. This is to make sure that our customers get a thorough explanation and understanding of the technology the vehicl... read more

Big Fat Liars For starters, I only got to test drive it for a minute. Secondly, I never got a chance to look at the actual vechile from the inside and out. I was then rushed in to do the paperwork as far as the sale. He first then tried to charge me for the factory installed tinted windows. Then he rushed into financing with a high apr regardless of my excellent credit. By then I was in excurating pain because I already had told him before showing up that I was already involved in a major car accident. I explicitly told him ... read more
