I am making this complaint because I was very unhappy with the treatment and overall experience I received at the hospital. I felt that some staff members were rude, dismissive, and did not take my concerns seriously. There were times when I asked questions or requested help and felt like I was ignored or not given a clear response. I came to this facility hoping to heal from things such as PTSD. Instead, I left feeling even more traumatized than when I arrived. My experience here was deeply dehumanizing. I didn't feel like a person--I felt like a lab rat. I often felt unheard, dismissed, and treated as if my emotions and experiences didn't matter. This place is terrible. A family member wasn't given all the items I gave them, they never answer the phones and aftercare is a joke. Was told to attend group therapy but once the patient arrived we were told basically it's only for those without insurance and we have insurance. So why did they put this in his care plan? Avoid this place if possible!

went here 4x in middle school, better than the rest, still below the bar. staff specifically; very unprofessional, commented on my self harm scars saying they're ugly, that ill regret them when i'm older & that they won't fade. 3 yrs later i forget they're there! & the therapist told me to share my feelings with the staff who said that.. they don't supervise us like they're supposed to & i know stripping is protocol but i felt violated having adult strangers see me fully naked. i was thrown on 4 meds & a bs safety plan. no ... read more

Worst place ever no communication between parents of kids at the facility or with the staff in the facility. Nobody knows anything ever and they never answer the phone or return calls

I brought my husband to Seven Hills Behavioral Hospital during an episode of active psychosis involving severe paranoid delusions. He also suffers from anosognosia, meaning he does not recognize that he is ill. It took months of patience and trust to reach the point where he would voluntarily walk into a psychiatric facility -- something families dealing with psychosis know is extremely rare. Communication sucks! They failed you give me the patient code needed in order to talk to the patient. My son was in there for 5 days and not once did a nurse or Dr call and give me an update. I have called over 12 times with no response in return. The staff seems nice but the communication which obviously is very important is basically nonexistent.

This place is a complete joke! Everyone I had any communication with was unprofessional, unorganized, and rude. They do not care! DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE. They are better off going to prison as this is exactly how they will treat you and your loved one. Oh! and clothes or any items your bring in will get stolen.
