Yet again, I try and send a message.... I spent an enormous amount of money for help at Sierra Tuscon. I have reached out to them for after care...They do not care! I called asking for help and their late night phone line was either an answering matching or a complete idiot that had no idea how to help anyone...It is amazing! I even wanted to donate money to help improve their establishment and could not get a hold of anyone with a brain. Be very wary of this place. There are many employees that are married in high positions... read more

I went for the pain program, but instead they put me on a different program I couldn't keep up with and then yelled & verbally abused me. Anytime I tried to talk to upper mng I was ignored & they lied to me and my family. You cannot trust this place or the ppl. It's very sad because you can tell at one point it was a wonderful healing place, but since corporate took over everything went to sh#$.

This place was a nightmare and actually pushed me over the edge from mania to full blown psychosis. The staff was awful and anything medication related was a joke. I still have nightmares from what happened there. Thank God I ended up being sent to a legitimate smaller residential program that actually helped in California after a five week stay at ST. In the new treatment center I spent the first 6 weeks of a seven month stay just being brought back to sanity after what happened at ST. I now have a diagnosis of PTSD from m... read more

Sierra Tucson is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been, no doubt. They spare no expense to make their facility and its surroundings look absolutely beautiful and that is one area in which they definitely succeed. Where they don't succeed would be the vast majority of everything else they do. If there's one thing I've learned from my time there, it's that money is and always has been their first and utmost priority. If you dare to voice an opinion of disapproval at anything they say or do, they will be more than hap... read more

This review is not relevant to the treatment and therapies received, but is about the billing and payment practices of the facility. If you look at the fine print on the financial agreement there is a clause that states that any insurance payments received will be applied to any discounts that the facility gave for the treatment. For example, if a $10,000 discount was given for the program, any insurance payments from the insurance company (up to the discount amount) would be applied to that discount and not returned t... read more

I was in the ED program for 10 days in 2006. I left AMA because of how terrible the staff was. I did not feel safe or cared for and at times felt downright disrespected. - The former ED director, Dr. Carolyn Coker Ross, was TERRIBLE. She'd set up meeting times in her office and I'd wait outside the door for her for sometimes up to 45 minutes before giving up and heading back to my room/building. Then she'd call the staff in the building, upset that I wasn't there! When she did actually meet with me, she took personal calls ... read more

Sierra Tucson was recommended because of their holistic approach and their abundance of alternative healing methods. I was assured repeatedly that my physical would be addressed through Acupuncture, different massage modalities and on going physical therapy. However upon meeting a doctor named Lerner who ran the pain clinic he proceeded to negate just about everything their admission people had said. If I had done more research I would have uncovered all the long standing AG complaints. The civil suits, including malpractic... read more

This Treatment Facility is HORRIBLE. Terrible experience from the time I arrived all the way from Alaska until I could leave. Dealing with the initial experience with the business office in signing the paper work where I was treated disrespectfully all the way through the intake process. I was mistreated and not offered any food or water. I was not allowed access to a phone. Horrible overall experience. Basic patient rights violated. I would not recommend to anyone.
