Do not go there for pain management. They left me dependent on different medication and did nothing for my pain. I spent lots of money with no insurance $46K for 30 days of walking around going to classes that had nothing to do with my pain. Tried to talk me into believing I had some trauma that caused my CRPS. Only trauma have had is trying to find a physician to treat my pain. This was my last ditch effort to try and get some help. Dr that is head of their chronic pain dept had helped me in past so thought would try ... read more

Lifelong adult struggle with treatment resistant depression, anxiety, complex ptsd. Sadly I've been in several treatment centres in my lifetime; however, this was by far the ABSOLUTE WORST EVER EXPERIENCE. The place is beautiful and offers many services often for additional costs, but it was not effective as a matter of fact I was worse off for going here. This company is a nightmare. They have staff so afraid to ask questions that patients are harmed. The constant mix up in drugs . The fact that the doctor forgets to p... read more

After I post a negative review Sierra Tucson asks me to get in touch with them. Haha! They didn't take or return our calls when my daughter was there. What a joke they are.

Business response:

I'm sad to leave a [mostly] bad review, but I'm hoping this feedback gets taken into consideration and is used towards creating a better facility. It is the only rehab facility I've been to, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I also was there is 2014 so it's likely changed since (not sure for better or worse though!). 1) I'm actually an RN -- when I checked in I brought a new $200 book that is used widely by good psychiatrists called "Stahl's Essential Psychopharmacology." I wanted to know what meds they were givin... read more

11/2/2020 So because of the neglectful way that my son was treated and diagnosed, he is still not doing well. His health care providers in Las Vegas have failed to dig deeper and really find out what is wrong so now he is on the wrong medication once again. So I do stand by my original post because if we had not take our son to them, then he would not have the incorrect diagnosis. It takes so long to get a correct diagnosis, so facilities that do a neglectful job, need to be held accountable. Please do not think that just ... read more

SIERRA TUCSON IS NOT FOLLOWING COVID SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS!! In fact they lied numerous times to my husband, who just returned from a month long stay. He was told clearly by at least 3 different people that he could receive onsite Covid testing before returning home to his family. When he pursued that, he was given the run around, only to be told by upper management that they did not offer testing. They lied to get his money, and then offered much less than what was promised. This place is charging 50-60k for a stay, and s... read more

I went to Sierra Tucson for treatment. Unfortunately they lost a bunch of my clothes and still haven't returned it. Also, they didn't return my blow dryer and flat iron.

Sending my son to Sierra Tuscon was a total waste of time and money. It's nothing more than a country club with total disregard for clients. I was point of contact for updates and when my son went missing, I couldn't even get anybody to return my calls. The only thing they are good at is taking your money.

Business response:

We encourage you to contact Risk Management in writing so we can address any questions, comments, concerns at: Sierra Tucson, 39580 S. Lago del Oro Parkway, Tucson, AZ 85739. Thank you.

Only a month ago they changed their policy to not allow Service Animals in violation of ADA access requirements. The call buttons aren't within reach of the beds and they think a scooter replaces a service animal when a scooter can't come help you off the ground if you fall when walking. Completely unreasonable accommodation. So they avoid doing the work of educating people to leave service animals alone in their policies and instead violate the sacred bond between service animals and their handlers increasing the emotional ... read more
