Sierra Tucson without a doubt saved my life. Last week I celebrated 6 months sober and ever since I stepped foot in ST my life has become bigger, and better than I have ever known. 6 months ago I was scared and broken, reading online reviews to figure out how to get help for my alcoholism. ST had some poor Yelp reviews but I had a feeling about it and an addiction therapist I saw had heard incredible testimonials from patients who went there. I called ST and it was a seamless, supportive, and easy process getting me in the d... read more

Upon reading the reviews of Sierra Tuscon I was surprised to see so many poor reviews. Sierra Tuscon was one of the better things to happen to our family. My first experience was family week for my Dad. They used therapeutic techniques that actually help. This was in 1991. I already had ten years sober by then. Suffice it to say a lot of excess baggage from a high stress family was left in the desert. Our roads got clearer ever since. Mostly the focus was on helping people resolve their core issues mainly of grief and... read more

I went to ST for alcohol abuse. This was my first time in a rehab facility so I don't have anything to compare it to. For the most part the staff was good. I had a new therapist who was okay. The therapist give awards to patients who are doing their work and making progress. Unfortunately, some people got awarded for bad behavior while others who were doing everything they were supposed to do didn't get the special incentives. I accidentally left some money behind in the safe. It was extremely difficult to get my mo... read more

My experience in ST in January, 2017, was amazing. I'm saddened by the reports from people who did not experience the help and support that I did. The campus is beautiful, and large enough that you don't feel confined in a prison like in so many other treatment centers. The food was about as good as it could possibly be given the scale of the operation - and I'm saying it was good. I believe, that a person's experience depends upon the attitude of the person. There is SO much at ST to learn and do, therapists and counsl... read more

This place saved my daughter's life. Of course, the person has to be fully ready to make a change, but everything she needed was in place for her here. I spent several days at a family weekend and it was caring, informative and well run. Beautiful location as well.

I attended Sierra Tucson in July 2002-Aug 2002 and it was life-saving/life-changing. The tools I learned jumpstarted my recovery from childhood trauma and saved me from my self destructive patterns of behavior. I had been to several inpatient hospitals before ST, but not residential treatment and my psychiatris at the time strongly recommended this level of care at the time. Before I went to ST I had given up hope that I deserved to live anymore, but thru hard work and caring staff, including my primary therapist and the ... read more

I attended Sierra Tuscon in September of 2013- October 2013. I had the most excellent experience. I went for their co-occuring disorder program since I suffer from addiction, major depressive disorder and bad anxiety. I wanted to write this review because my boyfriend is about to attend and after reading copious amounts of reviews from other websites like, rehabs.com, I thought I could put some truth and expierience into how "normal" addicts and head cases view this place and not just the nutballs who decided to give ST one ... read more

Michele E. If you are reading these reviews, probably either you or a loved one is in need of help and I am sorry for that. Life is difficult enough without the added extra stress of trauma, an addiction, or an eating disorder (or even possibly all thee). I wish you well in getting the help you need. I encourage you to take the negative reviews with a grain of salt as some may be from addicts who just didn't want to work the program. I was just released from Sierra Tucson last Thursday. I was on the trauma track there an... read more
