I originally gave them a 3 but changed it to a 4 b/c the home is built nicely and we love the floor plan, just minor workmanship details we discovered kinda left us dumb founded sort of speak. I mean, we paid a little over 400k for our home and for caulking to be as it is in some spots is just unacceptable to us.
They were professional.
Easy process, preferred lender is an excellent choice, good people involved, fair price for the market that we’re in. Our homes design is beautiful.
I had a great experience. The people seem to really care about your success and making sure that your needs are fulfilled.
I was always treated with respect and Lisa Matteson was always very accommodating when needing to inquire about anything.

Our experience was slightly different than most. It’s hard to give a solid 5 stars after all we’ve been through.
My wife and I are very happy with our new Smith-Douglas home. Sales and construction personnel were always a pleasure to work with and promptly responded to all inquiries. We hired a third party to do both a pre-drywall inspection and a final inspection. The Smith-Douglas builder very promptly addressed the few minor issues reported by the inspector.
