When I signed up with Smith Douglas it was from a background of having built several custom homes. This had me starting from a different page and it took some adjustment from that to a mass build. Once that transition was behind me it was a smooth process. I am likely to recommend Smith Douglas. As a first time home buyer, I was able to purchase a home within budget that had the amenities within the home that I enjoy.
While I would recommend SD as we are mostly satisfied, I would also feel that it would be necessary to share the issues we had so that they can be aware and proactive to avoid the same experience.
I have enjoyed working with Smith Douglas homes. I would definitely recommend them to a family or friend

Smith Douglas Homes - Atlanta was very good at communication throughout the build. I felt that they cared about the quality of the build. I would recommend a SD home to a friend, but would advise them to visit the build more than just at the pre-drywall inspection and the final walk through. And look carefully at the details and raise questions and requests quickly.
