Smith Douglas did a great job from start to finish of guiding us through the homebuilding process. Everything was built on schedule and the punchlist was done in a timely fashion.
I think they do a fantastic job as far as building a home. This is our favorite home we have had so far. This is the fifth home we have owned and it is the best one so far.
The cost of the homes is over price
As a real estate professional I have worked with several builders and Smith Douglas was definitely one of the easiest transactions I have been a part of.
I would definitely recommend buying a home from smith and douglas. I love my new home and the process of buying and building my new home.
I know purchasing a home can be a bit scary but they made the process so easy. Communication was exceptional.
So easy and fast we loved working with Smith Douglas
Overall, we have been extremely pleased with the people we interacted with. They were always professional, supportive and extremely responsive theough the building process. Where I think S & D fell short were in areas such as fencing and unreasonable restrictions that were passed on to the HOA. Had we known the full range of restrictions, we might have reconsidered but we were not given the full set of HOA requirements until our contract was completed.
The process was smooth and they kept communication open with me after I closed when issues came up. They aim to please.
