Some flexability in choices with selections but not all of what I wanted. A lot of choices are either/or. Contract is very strict and needs to be studied very carefully before signing. Lots of particulars that definitely favor the builder such as using their attorney and title company(which SDH has significant ownership in) and fees for date changes,etc.. The sales team was very knowledgeable, professional and extremely helpful.
We liked the designs and floor plan, which met our needs and expectations. As well as the location and layout of the subdivision. Also, our positive experience with the interactions with personnel and the whole process.

Communication between us and the builder was key .Smith Douglas did this well all through the build.
After only being in our home for one month, the ceiling in the living room has waves and looks like it is sagging in.
The home is brand new, so it's only been a month, and there have been no issues. However, I'm not satisfied with the sales aspect and the repairs we requested. As of now, it's good, but service-wise, I was not happy.
