We have been taking our dogs here for over 35 years. During these trying times, I understand we all need to be more patient as the doctors and techs are doing their best. Do I have to wait in my car? Yes!!! Is it hard on my dog? Yes!!! However, I sit there and talk to my dog and pet them which helps. Is it sometimes difficult to get them on the phone? Yes!!! Amazing staff and Veterinarians! Dr. Holland is such a nice and compassionate Veterinarian. I highly recommend this place for your fur babies.

I knew it was toward the end of my dog Abby's life when I started taking her to SW Vet. They were so caring and compassionate and helped guide me to knowing when it was ultimately time to put her down. Our goal was to let her live her longest life with the least amount of suffering. They were wonderfully supportive.

We love Dr Pendley! She has taken such good care of our two large dogs and they love seeing her. She is very attentive and knowledgable. She provides great care and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend this office and Dr Pendley.

I can't say enough good about the staff and the Docs here. I have a Shih tzu with Cushings and allergies. The vets there are so kind and patient. The staff are always friendly and efficient.. ( even when computers go down). I highly recommend taking your fur family there... Special thanks. To Mariah, Dena, Dr. Love and Dr.Holland.. Great vets, great staff, and even better human beings.

We're traveling through Bakersfield and our two Feists needed shots and heart-worm prevention medicine. We called here but they were experiencing computer issues so couldn't see us. So we went to another vet for vaccinations but they didn't have the heart worm prevention that we needed. Once their computers came back online they called us and we made an appointment to see a vet and get the medicine the dogs required. They were very kind and accommodating for my sweet baby's final goodbye. However, I don't think Dr. Martin was thrilled with my hysterical crying. The prices seemed reasonable and when I called asking for an earlier appointment, they checked the file and realized it was for my dog who was getting worse and were able to have me come earlier. To all Loving Pet Owners, My German Shepard Male Chucho Got into a fight with a bigger K9 German Shepard next door and ended up with a hole from a bite mark on his check area, I first took him to Mt. Everyone here from the office staff to the technicians and of course, the veterinarians are knowledgeable and kind. We have been taking our pugs here since we arrived in Bakersfield last year and when there has been an emergency they have always worked us in and have provided wonderful care. We lost one of our pugs this year and everyone was so caring. Dr. Love is our regular vet, and she is so knowledgeable and really takes time to explain and answer questions. This place is really amazing!
