Soonest appointment is 90 days out. This seems to be a recurring theme with all vets in Bakersfield, or they simply aren't taking new clients at all.

This Vets office has changed and not in a good way. If you care as most of us do about your furry family members I would look elsewhere for a good doctor. The lack of compassion and customer service is horrendous. I am happy to report we have since moved to find a much better veterinary office.

$55 to Schedule my appointment in July for 1:10pm and confirmed over the phone July 14. Was told I'll get a reminder text. While that text came at 11:25 am the day of appointment. When trying to call at 12 (what a surprise very one at lunch) and someone did call me to ask if I wanted to reschedule 123pm but I would have to pay additional $55. Talk to two women that just kept saying That there policy. I asked why didn't I get text 24 hr sooner not 30 min before their all out for lunch. That's how the System works she rep... read more

I wish I had overall good feedback for this Vet's office, however that is just not the case. Pro's: * Our dog did receive adequate care on the 3 occasions we brought him in. "Only one of those were an actual appointment for medical care the others were regarding vaccines" * We were able to book an urgent appointment * Great Vet techs Cons: * Over priced * In correct billing and account communication details * Double the office visit if they double book you. * Billing monthly service charges on any balances * We have been... read more

Unfortunately we had a bad experience during my dogs visit on 7/1/21. My dog was going in for his booster vaccines, I alerted the receptionist that I was outside in spot 5 and that my dog was dog aggressive and 75lbs. She asked if I preferred to come with him for the visit, I said yes. She texted me back and said that I could come into the lobby and they would room us ASAP to keep him clear of other animals. This is usually my go to office and I have been coming here for 9+ years but yesterday was a nightmare! The phone lines are always busy and almost impossible to get through. Get another phone line! You can afford it! I was trying to call for over 30 minutes to find out what was going on with my dog after getting a voicemail from the vet. I ended up just having to drive there to find out what was going on. I picked her up about 2 hours later get her home and notice she has a bleeding puncture wound on the top of your head! For the love of goodness it's the 21st century. Add another phone line to your business. Every time I call the line is busy. When you do get through, you're put on hold for sometimes 10-15 minutes. Staff says they have to use their personal cell phones to make calls because there is only one phone line in and out of the building. Called early this week to get refill. Finally got someone to call me back three days later only to find out that there was no note of my dog needing a refill. I am going to look for another vet for... read more

**Update: I was contacted by Southwest regarding this review, but wasn't in a position to talk. When I asked for a callback number, Julie instructed me to call the main number, which I'd already stated in the review was nearly impossible to get through on. That's how concerned they were to hear feedback. Took my review from 3 stars down to 2, and have found a new vet.**
